Hi, my name is Eli and I am 9 years old. I live in Outback Australia and am home schooled. I am in year 4. My mum said I can do a blog to show all my schoolwork It will kind of like be a time capsule for years to come.

We have a pet dog named Charlie. She is 9 months old. She can sit and shake hands so far.
As you can see by the name of my blog I love monkeys. I have written a story about a monkey and done a narrative of chimps. You will see the photos I put on too.
The Monkey
At the zoo they had so many animals like monkeys and elephants and horses and penguins and one monkey who was cheeky and funny and nice.
He just put a banana on the ground to make somone slip but then he took it away so no one can be hurt. He always plays with his friends. His friends were lions and elephants and tigers. Thats all the friends he had.
A plan came to his mind. He decided that one night he would sneak out to get some ones food. After he got it he shared his food with his friends. Then he let all his friends out of the zoo and they escaped and went to live in the wild.

Narrative
Moonbeam The Chimp
Moonbeam is a chimp whose job is to go into space. She will be trained to go to the moon.
Scott owned her. Moonbeams friend was Dr Jim. One day they went to visit the zoo. Moonbeam saw lots of chimps who looked just like her.
"Hoon Hoon", said Moonbeam.
Next they went to see Mr Long. Mr Long was a giraffe. Moonbeam and Mr Long became friends.
Dr Jim said, "Now we have to lose Moonbeam". "How come"? asked Scott. "Because she has to find her way back from space one day and she has to practice now". "Ok", said Scott.
So they took Moonbeam up in the helicopter and then let her out by herself.
Moonbeam couldn't find her way back. She said "Heen, Heen maybe if I climb up the tree, I can find my way back." So Moonbeam climbed the tree and she saw the zoo.
When she got back to the zoo, the zoo keepers chased her. Moonbeam ran back to where all the other chimps were. The zoo keepers could not find her because she looked like all the other chimps.
"Moonbeam, where are you? " they asked. But Moonbeam did not answer. Scott and Dr Jim came looking for her. "Moonbeam, come out" they said. "Heen" said Moonbeam. "Oomph", said the other chiimps and so they found her.
"You were supposed to go back to the Rocket Port", said Scott and Dr Jim.
As they walked away from the zoo, the zoo keepers called out, "Mr Long is missing, can you help us find him". Once again Moonbeam was taken up in the helicopter and let down in the jungle. This time Moonbeam had to find her way back to the Rocket Port. But once again she could not find her way back. So she climbed up the tree again.
This time she could see Mr Long and also the Rocket Port, so she climbed back down the tree and she went running to Mr Long. Mr Long said, "Here is my friend".
Moonbeam took Mr Long back to the Rocket Port. Scott and Dr Jim were very proud of Moonbeam because she had found Mr Long and had found her way back to the Rocket Port.
